Quena

The Peruvian Quena is one of the most exquisite flutes I make. The Native Peruvians took the major scale from the Spanish and combined it with their own aspects of flute playing. It’s windy tones and back thumb hole create a sound filled with the flavor of the Andes.

This is a must for anyone interested in playing bamboo flutes! The Quena flute will always challenge you to take it to the next level, and there is no limit! It’s fun as a beginner, but you really have to be motivated with this flute. There is so much there but getting it out can be the hard part! Practice makes perfect, especially with the Quena. This is by far my favorite flute! It’s challenging, flavorful, diverse, and goes great with other instruments!
